Hi All,
I am in the process of moving house and so not surprisingly am reviewing all my mortgage related 'stuff'. Anyway, having been diagnosed with RA 2 years ago (now under control with Enbrel et al) this is the first time I have been faced with being turned down for insurance. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Basically i can't seem to get anyone to give me Critical Illness Cover - at any premium. Not entirely surprising, but incredibly frustrating (think of all those policies we all pay into and never use....). Has anyone found any insurer prepared to quote for cover for someone with RA? Would really welcome any inputs on this as I am the main wage earner in our house and am feeling very 'exposed' at the moment!
Love Maddie xxx

Hi Maddie,

Give the NRAS helpline a ring, they have a list of insurers that might be useful to you.
Good luck,

Doreen xx
